Montenegro has two international airports, Tivat and Podgorica and three international ports Bar, Kotor and Zelenika.
Ćilipi airport (Dubrovnik – Croatia) is very close to Montenegro too.
National airline company Montenegro Airlines ( has direct flights to European cities: Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Ljubljana, London, Moscow, Paris, Roma, St. Petersburg, Vienna, and Zurich.
Air Serbia Airways ( has, as well, direct and connected flights to the most of European capitals.

Podgorica airport is 65 km away from Budva.
Tivat airport is 22 km away from Budva.

Credit cards, Banks & Post offices, ATMs

International credit cards Visa, Master Card, Diners are accepted in most shops, airline companies, hotels and restaurants.
On weekdays Banks and Post offices are opened from 09:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. On Saturdays they are opened from 09:00 a.m. to – 01:00 p.m.
There are numerous ATMs throughout Montenegro. There are plenty of cash points for Master or Visa cardholders.

Telecommunication service

Extension from Montenegro: dial 00 + country code + city code. Montenegro country code is 382. There are three cellular operators in Montenegro: Telenor GSM Info: 1188. T-Mobile GSM Info: 1500. M-Tel GSM Info: 1600. The roaming service is available in all significant countries all over the world. Tourists are recommended to use prepaid cards, which can be bought at the Post Offices, operator’s selling services and kiosks.


Grocery stores are open from 06.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and from 08.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m on Sundays. Many stores are also open 24 hours a day. Kiosks are open from early in the morning until late at night. They sell everything from bus tickets to foreign newspapers and magazines.


There are organized duties in hospitals and clinics round the clock. Pharmacies are opened from 08.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m. on working days and on Saturdays from 08.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m.

Electricity & Power supply

Electricity is 220 V, 50 Hz. Plugs are the standard continental type with two round pins.
